Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

As yes. The weather people are telling us we will have "cold and dry overnight with slack breezes" for Saturday night. 7.45 looks good for me; if not earlier.
Thanks, Paul. You can put my name down.
(Now what am I going to look at?)
Clear skies,
Aubrey.

Quite calm, RTE says there could be some light showers during the day, have to keep an eye out.

I agree with you, Paul.
Later in the day though it does look good for us on the east coast.
I might just grab me a new carbon star in Cygnus -if it is not too high up.
Aubrey.

Hi Paul.
I have some good news for you. I have one more very good amateur astronomer coming tonight. He is well known -a guy called Mick from the IAS.
We agreed to meet up at 7.30 pm at the Sugarloaf.
How does that sound to you?
We are being promised clear periods for Saturday night by Met Eireann.
Those huge rain clouds in the Irish Sea appear to be going away.
Aubrey.
