Over two days the Galway Astronomy Club will host what has become the largest Astronomy Festival in the country, with trade stands and displays from Ireland’s top retailers, displays of astrophotography and meteorites, lectures and talks from leading astronomers, free kiddie’s activities such as astro-art classes and a planetarium, a free public astronomy viewing session from our dark sky site, workshops, a tour of the NUIG Observatory, an evening astro-dinner and table quiz.
