Good luck to all involved in COSMOS this weekend. Some fun observing info below:

Planets - Sunset is around 8 with Mercury (setting 22h), Mars (setting 23:20) and Jupiter (rising 20:40) visible. Also some ISS/Iridium activity:

Iridium Flares (Catch them while you can!)

Mar 31, 22:53:34 -4.9 Alt 29° 53° (NE) Iridium 19

Comets 41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak and C/2015 V2 Johnson both circumpolar and visible in the evening sky (full details from the monthly guide!)

Excellent talks, great craic as always, Solar observing in the daytime, night time observing on the Saturday night - I stayed out of town so didn't join in with that but did some observing from my B&B on the Shannon south of Athlone - example photo attached!
