Alleged clear nights coming

Good evening, everyone.

Both www.met.ie and www.yr.no seem to be allegedly promising clear nights over Dublin for Thursday and Friday 9th and 10th July. Let's hope so.
We don't want a repeat of last Sunday night. Do we?

Well, folks, Thursday night is a flop.
100% overcast skies over here on the east coast.
Let's hope for the best and maybe Friday night will be better!

Friday evening is arriving now.
And we are supposed to have some spells of clear skies after dark.
There are plenty of clear blue areas already over Dublin at 6 pm local time.
But watch out!
On www.met.ie I do see some serious heavy bursts of rain coming our way.
So I won't be setting up my scope just yet.
Let us keep an eye on this website!!

There were all wrong again.
When 9 pm occurred on Friday our Dublin skies were 100% overcast until midnight.
Sorry about all that.
Is there such a person as a reliable meteorologist?

But on a cheerful note I am glad some of our folk are seeing Comet Neowise.
