Hope everyone is safe and well. This year the Irish Astronomical Society is again organising a Christmas social event for our members and friends including amateur astronomers in IFAS Clubs and other astronomy groups. Because of Covid restrictions the annual "Stars, Comets and Mince Pies" event this time will be held on Zoom and will include:
"'Stars, Stones and Stories: Astronomy in Neolithic Ireland'" an entertaining talk by author Anthony Murphy (see below)
"The Sky in December" by IAS member John Flannery
Virtual Coffee and Mince Pie break with an Astro Quiz and some chat (bring your own Coffee and Mince Pies this year?)
