Out of action

Dear friends, 

As some of you may know, I was diagnosed as having a murmur in my heart way back in 2012. 
That was a few months before Valerie and I observed the Total Solar Eclipse in Cairns, Australia. 

I have now learned that this murmur is now having serious problems. 
Therefore I'm about to have an aortic valve fitted. 
It means I will be out of action for about 3 months. 

Needless to say my Eclipse holiday has had to be cancelled. 
However I have been assured that this operation is very successful. 
I should be back observing later in 2024. 
How soon - I don't know. 

For those of you who pray, you are very welcome to do so.

Yes! I appear to be guaranteed to see the Spanish TSE in 2 years time.
I am meeting the surgeon on Saturday 27th January. He will then decide when my operation will take place.
I've had so many folks in touch with me.
It is going to be a huge test for me personally to get victory with this one.
But 2 people I know are now living very grand old age. One lady is now 90+++

It's good to know that this operation has a high success rate - and that's including a triple bypass.

I'm sorry you had to cancel your eclipse trip, but there is always 12th August, 2026 in Spain! You will get to that one no doubt and maybe ill see you there! Get well soon.
