Irish Astronomy Week 2025

Hi, just to update your diaries,  The next Irish Astronomy Week will take place from March 1st to 8th 2025. Last March there were 108 events in total spanning the lenght and breath of the country, Most events were held in libraries with talks geared torwards adults and children. 
The last two events have been  amazing with over 2000 people attending the various events , It was my idea and I took on alot, the first IFAS meeting on this was very productive but since then it seem's like there is growing disenchantment from some in the IFAS community who have no interest IAW project, public outreach or even helping out..

So again this year I am reacheing out to members here to please come forward to give a small amout of your time to give something back to your community and present a talk for Astronomy Week at your local library. All you have to do is email me at info@irishastronomyweek.ie so that I, with your help can arrange to set it up. I take no credit for your dedication, passion amd time doing astronomy or doing a presentation, its all for Astronomy and the younger generation who we as a whole want to inspire. Happy Christmans and Best wishes
