About 50 people, mostly members of the public, adults and children gathered in the car park in Corran Woods near Fermoy, Friday night 21st November and under excellent viewing conditions observed many wonders of the sky, indeed towards the end of the session a superb Leonid was observed crossing the sky from East to West
Some of the Cork Astronomy club were invited and brought along their telescopes
