Interested in Starting a club? Waterford/South Kilkenny

I've decided to take the bull by the horns!!! Today I was asked by a person can they join the Bausch & Lomb Astrnomy Society(see postings under Club News/What area does each club cover?) and had to tell them that its only open to factory employees as meetings are held onsite etc. This got me thinking :idea:

If I helped set up one club why not another? One open to all :lol:

So if anyone in the above areas agrees please contact me.

You will hear nothing but sounds of approval from IFAS, Conor. If there is anything we can do to help, for example one of us to give an inaugural talk, just let us know.

I surprised he hasn't seen this already, and like David Bell said, anything we can do to help, just name it.

I think it would be great for it to happen. The idea was mooted some time ago by myself and Patrick Curran but the website was probably at too early a stage with too few members to receive interest from people in the south-east. However, I see the list of members is now fast approaching 120. So, if you're interested in getting a club off the grounds I certainly would be extremely keen to assist in whatever way I can while I live in the area.
