Coronado Draw + Shannonside meeting tonight.

Hi All,
Next SAC meeting in Limerick is on the 7th September in Mary I college as usual, the talk will be given by Tony O'Hanlon on the "Clusters of Cassiopeia".
I will be handing out WSP Coronado draw sheets at the meeting also.
You can email Dave Bell if you want some sheets email to you.

I have to be honest and say that we have said for the last few years that organising and announcing this draw with a month to go to the Whirlpool Star Party is no good to anyone. The SDAS have a meeting tomorrow night with the next meeting the night before the WSP weekend . . . absolutely no time at all to ask people to sell lines or take a draw sheet.

I think the WSP would make a lot more money on these draws if clubs were contacted prior to their last meeting before the Summer. It is also to the exclusion of people who might like to buy a ticket but were not aware of any draw taking place.

Valid points there, I only got the sheets in the mail this morning.
but its not up to me, I dont organise this draw,
Dave Bell is your man for that.
I'm just letting you all know its on again this year.

thanks Dave . . . not giving out to anyone but just felt we should have made a real push to get word out to clubs prior to the Summer. Many thanks to Geraldine btw (in what was a difficult year for her) to continue the generous support of the WSP.
