Thats the way I look at it also.
and if we're lucky we'll get new members out of it also.

Its not as difficult as it might at first seem, you just come up with 40 or so titles. we also decided that the first article of each month will describe the night sky for that month + any interesting events.
If you spread it out over 3+ people its not so bad, all it means is that you write 1 article every 3 weeks or so, how hard is that!
Takes me about 2 hours or so to complete.

Its good Dave that you succeeded in that kind of committment from club members, its something many clubs here have tried repeatedly but it evetually goes by the wayside.
One thing I mentioned toTAS members when I looked for volunteers was that this is not a charity mission, or a free-paying job. Try to see the good out of it for both the individual doing it and their club. If you have an interest, or even want to find an interest, in a particular astronomy topic, then go research it, write about it, and tell everyone else what you found! Doesn't last for long though!
