2nd meeting of Drogheda Astronomy Club was created by mythicalireland
I don't know if this is the right place for this post, because our club is not affiliated with IFAS, but the second meeting of the Drogheda Astronomy Club tonight (Wed., 28th Sept.) was a great success and very enjoyable. A number of telescopes were available for skywatchers, while the viewers were treated to a number of meteors and a triplet of NOSS satellites. A more comprehensive report is available at:

Congrats Anthony,

hi Anthony,
well done on that observing evening . . . very interesting report.
would echo David's note about whether D.A.C. would be keen to link up with IFAS? There will be a meeting at the Whirlpool Star Party and if you or any of your club members were there you could apply for affiliation.
btw, I came across your page with various astronomy and other fonts which are extremely useful and have imported them into my DTP packages. Many thanks for providing them.

Thanks for the comments guys. Makes it all really worthwhile.
I've been into astronomy since I was 8. I am now 31. For the first time in the entire history of my hobby, I can finally share it with other people in my locality. Got a great buzz out of showing people the heavens through my NexStar 11 GPS. At last, I'm getting some good use out of it!
