here we go again!!! -- country clubs under threat???

Just want to say sorry! I've just re-read all of this thread and it appears that my butting in killed this conversation!

As for AI (or is it A&S, there doesn't seem to be a distiction) having a monoply, this is only surface deep! I'm just starting down the astronomy route (with no pior knowledge) and I wasn't satisfied with what they had to offer. The one blaring fact I found from reading A&S was that there seemed to be little or nothing from other clubs. With my dissatisfaction in one hand and my mouse in the other, I went looking for more - hence I found you guys (and girls!).

I don't feel that you have anything to worry about from AI, they're playing a different game entirely! Anyone else wanting to start out, I'm sure, will do the same as I did.
