BLAS Venus Transit Watch was created by ctr
Following are the details of the Bausch & Lomb Astronomy Society Venus Transit Watch on the 8th June

Meet at 5am at the Lay-by in Mweelnahor in the Ring Gealteacht .

How to find this:- Take the N25 Cork Road from Dungarvan, Turn for Ring when signposted, R674, for 1.25 miles.At the Ring/Sean Phobail Y junction head for Sean Phobail (Old Parish) for about 0.5 of a mile to Lay-by on Left Hand Side.

Sun signs will be in place as you get near.

Meeting will go ahead whatever the weather, if cloudy we will discuss scopes, if raining we will discuss scopes in cars. :P

If you intend to stay for all the transit don't forget flask and sandwiches
