Tullamore AS pre-Transit Public Lecture Monday June 7th

Hi folks,

Tullamore Astronomical Society's last public lecture of the season is on Bank Holiday Monday next in the Order of Malta Training Room, Tanyard, Tullamore @ 8pm:

Sean Morris, TAS - Prelude To A Transit

It will give details of what the transit is all about, what its history is, and there will be a slide show.
Weather permitting, there will be solar observing by projection method prior to the meeting in the adjoining carpark, giving visitors the chance to see sunspots on the surface. Advice on how to set this up will be demonstrated.

Admission is free, all are welcome.
