Folks, Terry Moseley has very kindly offered to head up the Meteor Section of the AOP.

Terry is a great supporter of IFAS, superbly qualified in general and specifically in Meteor Observing, and he wins all quizes so he must be good

I hope we can reciprocate with some formal reports of the weekend's Orionids. For the moment, if you can send completed forms to me (see the website below) as scanned images or post them to me (PM me for the address or email me a request via the website below) and I'll get them to Terry.

In the coming weeks we'll get a more formal procedure set up in readiness for the Leonids (November) and Geminids (December).

The website gives you a 'tips and tricks' worksheet plus the observing form.

And don't worry, if you intend to go out for a couple of hours, even if you just formally observe for half and hour and fill in the form, that would be a brilliant start.
