i want to thank the lads for their talk tonight, i enjoyed it. it is nice to put faces to the names and see some of their equipment and hear about it from the lads themselves.

I second that, Excellent talk, and I even picked up a tip or 2 on modifing a webcam. Now all I need is some courage :D .

Thanks for the comments guys, it was a real pleasure to co-present this talk to the IAS. Thanks to everybody who showed up.

Michael: Don't be afraid of modifying the webcam. Remember what I said about using conductive ink (available from maplins) to make the connections to the tiny pins on the webcam. Make the right connections, make the little control board, hook it all up and it's hard to go wrong.

My thanks to Dave and Jed for one of the most detailed and interesting talks I think we ever had. Your astrophotography is very special and it was just brilliant that you shared it so well,with all who attended.
