I just tried to access the Tuesday show but it wouldn't let me 'Application not found' it said. Any ideas on how I can access it? (I do have broadband)

Hi Bernie - you need to install RealPlayer - that's the format RTE seem to use.

Click on tinyurl.com/yfrd97 and it should download automatically.

You need to have "real player" on your PC.
europe.real.com/player/?&src=ZG.eu.idx,ZG.eu.rm.rm.hd.def

Download the permanently free one, unless you want to pay for the one with extras, which you probabily wont need/use.

I missed the episode where you talked about the Geminids.
Is this available to listen to on the web?
How did it go?

Hi Frank - here are the two Mooney episodes. the second one is the Geminids. It went well but there was very little time left after Derek go stuck into a conversation with a previous speaker about truffles of all things...

Enjoy!

Normally Uranus would be far too difficult to spot, because it's just one of 6,000 celestial bodies in the sky. But tonight - for the first time in about 7 years or so - Uranus will be right beside the moon. So if there are any budding astronomers out there, get yourselves a simple pair of binoculars and you'll be able to catch a rare glimpse! Derek chats to Dave McDonald of Celbridge Observatory about this infrequent phenomenon.

We chat to our starman, Dave McDonald of Celbridge Observatory, about the myriad of shooting stars that will be visible to the naked eye in the skies tonight.
