Hi mayby off topic but how come your pod cast dosent get captured by itunes like other podcasts eg slackerastronomy and astronomy a go go etc.. Also I cant seem to transfer it to my portable mp3 player to listen to it when I am away from a computer or out observing. Just dosent seem to want to do it. I am using Win Mediapalyer 11.

Hi,

It is actually on iTunes. For some reason it doesn't come up when you search for Astronomy but it does come up when you search for IFAS. I think that has something to do with the XML in our feed not being quiteright. I'm working on that and hopefully I'll get it sorted soon.

The podcast is just MP3 files so I can't see why it wouldn't transfer to a portable player. I only have an iPod so all I can say is that it transfers to my iPod. I'm not a Windows user so I have no idea what could be up with MediaPlayer 11, perhaps some of our Windows users could shed some light on this one?

I hope you manage to get this problem sorted because both Trevors piece on Orion and my sky guide are probably best enjoyed out among the stars.

Regards,

Bart.

Bart,

Many thanks for making the MP3 available. Not only was it fun to listen to but it was nice associating a voice with the cyber names here on the board.
