Hey Eugene!!!
I strongly resemble that last remark!!!
But I have to say that W.A.C.O.S. is a LOT BETTER than W.A.C.!
How about calling the club: .... S.E.A.S. ..... W.C.A.C.A.S... or even E.B.A.S.... and how about...
W.A.S....or.... L.A. T.I.T.S.......
Liam BLAS/AI etc!

Hi Lads,
Thats great to here, I'd forgotton that BLAS is open to employees only.
WACOS is a great name for the club, great to see someone with a sense of humour, very original.
I'm almost afraid to ask about LATITS....

Just to bring everyone up to date.
The inaugural meeting of the new club will take place on Thurs 26th Aug at 8.30pm in the Moorings Bar ,The Quay ,Dungarvan.
Weather permittting we'll have an observing session after.
At the moment there are about 10 confirmed but I know of a few more enquiries.
Any enquiries can be posted here or you can email me.
We have had very good coverage of Seanie Morris's Perseid article in all the county and city papers maps as well.
See y'all soon .

Hi Folks,
Just a reminder re inaugural meeting of Waterford club this Thurs night in in the Moorings Bar The Quay , Dungarvan.at 8:30pm
We've had agood response and the met office are giving a good forecast.
If there are any IFAS mambers in the area you are more than welcome to drop in.
A further bit of good news is that one of our members has his 12" GOTO up and running in its own dome observatory.
Clear skies

New club update
We had a very successful first meeting last night ,had some scopes and gear on display attendance was very good and including the few apologies it looks like we should have c. 20 members.
We're holding our next meeting on Tues 14th Sept in Bridgie Terries Bar which is about 4 miles on the Waterford side of Dungarvan as it has an outdoor dark area adjacent to it.
We will have a "delegation" travelling to Birr so we'll meet you all there .
