Mooney Slot

Folks - I'll be on Mooney (RTE Radio 1) tomorrow afternoon (Friday) after 4pm.

Does anyone have any events happeneing over the weekend? If so, send me details ASAP. No guarantees but I'll try and squeeze it in for you.

why not mention the IFAS podcast , I give a run down in it for the eclipse on Saturday night

IAS has an outing to Newgrange at 11:00 on Saturday, followed by a "run to your scopes for the Eclipse - women and astronomers first" .

I'd like to share the experience, with people who know whats happening. So anyone who wants is welcome to spend the night in my backyard (with my kids) enjoying and photographing the spectacle. I hope to get some parallax shots for S@N, though I don't think too many stars will be in the FOV.

John - any more details on the IAS event? Is it open to the public? Free? Meeting point? etc etc.

Dave - heard your Podcast interview - excellent - I'll try and get aired if there's time.
