Just as a follow up to last fridays club session,
Here are a few pics I took.

The first ISS pass of the night,

Tony & Dave have a look at some clusters through the 'Obsessionator'
(more of an arty shot than anything really)

The summer Milky Way was very clear, you can just make out two faint
trails from satellites crossing paths to form an X on the right.

The NLC's we saw at dawn,

A grand nights observing all the same.

We had another viewing last night (Saturday), under almost the same conditions although the seeing was alittle worse.

The highlight for me was seeing clearly the ISS through the 20" while Michael did the tracking, absolutely amazing, to see clearly the solar panel sections.

Frank, you cought the lower milkyway and rifts nicely in your arty shot!, then again aren't they all arty really

The coathanger is very prominent in your second image Frank, the colours are also very dramatic. Wasn't that about 2.30-3.00am in the south east, the sky was getting bright in the north east at that time ?
