Hi all.
Just a quick post to let you know that the TAS trip to Birr Castle last Sunday was a great day out. The weather held up brilliantly. Everyone - from the very young to the ..... bit older - thoroughly enjoyed the day. Fair play to John Flannery for making the trip down and more importantly, keeping my toddler amused with a combination of ducks & hula hoops! (Don't ask!) We had the luxury of having our own in-built tour guides in two members of the club - Girvan & Maire McKay - who between them had everything covered from the history of the telescope to the history of the plantlife! We nearly picked up a few tourists along the way!!!
Thanks to all involved.
Regards, Darren.
