The Galway Astronomy Club autumn season starts next monday night 8pm (Sept 24th) at our meeting venue the Claddagh Hall.
From NUI Galway, club member Alastair Mc Kinstry will present a talk about recent discoveries regarding the many Exoplanets discovered over the past ten years. Alastair who is an experienced software engineer has a MSc in Experimental Physics from Trinity College Dublin.
The season culminates with the Galway Astronomy Festival to be held from Jan 25th/26th with a new friday opening night and talk.
