Astro2, the Astronomy and Physics Society at NUI Maynooth will be kicking off our annual series of external speakers next Tuesday, Oct 19th with a talk from Mr. Anthony Murphy, the author of the

entitled
"Stone Age Astronomy in Ireland"
The talk will discuss the ancients' views on astronomy, the signifigance of astronomical events in that culture as well as other topics.
We will begin at
7:30pm in
Lecture 4, in the
John Hume Building, on the North Campus of NUI Maynooth. If weather permits, we will go stargazing afterwards, and if not, we will hold a debate on a topical physics-y subject.
