Arcturus Special Edition was created by johnflannery
hi everyone,
as Shane mentioned in an earlier post in this subdirectory, we'll have an interview with lunar guru Charles Wood in the November/December edition of the magazine.
what we're also hoping to do is to devote the whole issue to articles about the Moon. Granted, it's ambitious, but with your help we could produce a great magazine.
Shane called for people to write a short piece about their lunar observing experiences but as far as I'm aware there has been no response. So, if you'd like to see your name in print, then there's a long weekend that's expected to be overcast so you've plenty of spare time to put pen to paper or digit to keyboard!
next weekend is closing date for contributions and many thanks in advance for the flood of material You can PM me through the .org board.
as well as the Charles Wood interview, I'm writing an article on 2000 years of spaceflight to the Moon (mostly about early science fiction stories) and hope to finish one too on naked-eye Moon observing projects.
have a good weekend!
John
