"The Birth of Stars and Planets"
by Dr Emma Whelan of the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS)
Dr. Emma Whelan of the School of Cosmic Physics in the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies is involved in research into how stars and consequently planets are formed. In this lecture Dr. Whelan will talk about the research undertaken at D.I.A.S as well as bringing up to date with research into this exciting area of astronomy worldwide.
