Unfortunately due to a prior engagement I am unable to attend this lecture, however for those who have not seen Dr Popescu in action before you can take it from me that she delivers an excellent lecture which promises to be both informative and highly entertaining - her 2005 talk to the EAAS was one of the most enjoyable in my time in that society.

If you can get there, it's a "must see"!

And as if Paul's invitation could not sway you from your 'prior engagement', she will also be talking at Cosmos '08. ;)

Seanie, I'll be at Cosmos, wild horses etc etc

I will be looking for my headband red torch that you promised me so watch your shins!!

Can I add to Eamonn's post that due to Comet Holmes outburst, we have also managed to get Dr David Asher also at our talk to 'comment' on the 'comet'!! (Terrible pun!)

We are so lucky that Dr Asher has agreed to do a small talk and I would invite anyone in the area to come to listen to both his and Dr Popescu's talk, if you can make it!

I'll be at the door, so just ask for me!
