We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time. . . .

HI guys! As the Galway astrofest nears or the CSP as it seems to be commonly known im intrigued to see who is coming!!!! So whos coming down??? itll be great to meet up with everyone!!! There are alot of new users and faces on these boards since last year so i hope to see all the new members of this site there! Every year i see more and more interest in astronomy and this site is a credit to the Irish interest in it!
Also is anyone bringing scopes or equipment??? Id love to see a big turnout for the observing sessions!!!!! Maybe even a solarscope of some kind??? Ive never seen the sun except thru my scope with a thousand oaks filter!!! Itd be class to see some proms or a sunspot!!!
See y'all soon!

Ditto Matt!
I've never seen a filtered sun
(except for the total eclipse in 99)

Are many staying at the hotel on the Saturday night? In the event of bad weather there is always the conference dinner and the bar...
