Hi all,
Michael O'Connell will give the SDAS talk tonight, January 17th, on "Observing the Sun". All welcome to come along to Gonzaga College in Ranelagh, Dublin at 8pm to learn more about our parent star.

This is a very good talk well worth attending. Michael gave a similar talk in Dunsink for the IAS last year.

Yes Michael's talk is very interesting, and educational.
His images of the sun are outstanding, one of the best talks doing the rounds at the moment.

Many thanks to Michael O'Connell who gave the SDAS a very entertaining talk on the Sun and solar observing last night. Michael also showed us some of his own stunning images of the Sun in H-alpha.

I know you give advanced warning about meetings, but when is the next one? i will be there for sure. Sorry i missed this one. The sun is a fasinating object and its something i want to get into observing................if the damn clouds would just move out of the way.
