Hi guys,
Firstly I would like to extend a very warm thank you to Astronomy Ireland who very kindly advertised the Galway Astro Fest in there E-mail newsletter! I know how many people this letter reaches around Ireland and i was absolutely thrilled to see it while checking my own email!!!

I know there has been alot of friction between some clubs and Astronomy Ireland in the past but i hope this is a sign of Mending old ways!!

This is great publicity and i believe this will boost this years attendance greatly!

To finish up i would like to thank AI once again!!!

Matt now you mention it i was taken aback when i saw AI mention the Galway meeting.

Purely because i have not seen them mention any meeting outside of Dublin before.

I'd LOVE to go to the Galway meeting,mostly to meet you guys attending. But for me (i like to plan stuff with military accuracey) i found out about it too late.

My next step is the next SDAS meeting and i'll take things from there.

Matthew, on behalf of AI, you are most welcome. I do hope to see lots and lots of people there over the weekend. It promises to be a great show and I can't wait for it.

I would also take this opportunity to extend the same invite to all other clubs. If you want your events 'out there' on the AI newsletters etc, just come and talk to me. I will make it my business to ensure they get the publicity they deserve.
