just had to resize. back up in in all its glory ( minus 30% original width and width and height!).
it looks ok on my monitor now. is the site a standard size or does it depend on monitor resolution? if so, i will make the avatar smaller, just let me know

I'll be doing up a new one over the weekend if I get a few hours of dry weather. The observing that day was grand, we had a number of SCTs with white light filters and the solarmax 40, it was fun and it was nice to get a tan while observing for a change instead of been frozen the death.
As for doing it again, why not, all we need is another heat wave and for something to be on the sun to look at.

Nice pic...but we still cant see you!
Solar observing day?
Hmmm...not a bad Idea....
How did that one go? Do you think it'd be worth doing again?

That's the sun shade umbrella over the table for the laptop, we tried a bit of solar imaging then aswell. I remember it was blistering hot that August day. We were testing the solarmax before we gave it away in the WSP draw.
