It is a star party, Ireland's second longest running star party to be exact. It used to be called the Irish Astrofest, and held in conjunction with the IAS in the first few years since 1992. Then it was changed to Cosmos in 1998. This year, it takes place on the weekend of April 4th to 6th, at Annaharvey Farm, 4 miles outseide Tullamore.
