You might be seeing some familiar faces on the 'Sky at Night' very soon. Carl O'Beirnes, and myself have been invited by the team to travel to Sir Patrick Moore's home to participate in an episode to be filmed next month.

The episode will be based around the Lunar eclipse on Feb 20/21st and will look at photographing the eclipse as well as the planets. Other attendees will be Dave Tyler, Damian Peach, Pete Lawrence, Ian Sharp and Martin Mobberley.

Were both thrilled at being asked to attend and are certainly looking forward to it. We'll both be having half our observatories shipped across to the UK!

Of course lots of photos will be taken and we'll post up on webtreatz.com when we get back.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.

Well done guys, that is indeed a great honour. Let's hope for a clear night as good as the last Lunar Eclipse!

Hey Dave
That’s simply fantastic guys; you both deserve this honour without a doubt! Bring back plenty of pics please (astro and of Patrick’s observatory).
If you want an official tea maker, someone to hold the eyepieces and fetch equipment and do all the donkey work etc, then just PM me! :D

Clear skies
