Hi all,

The next meeting of the South Dublin Astronomical Society is on this Thursday, 7th February, at 8pm in Gonzaga College in Ranelagh.

The title of the lecture is "Binary Stars Double Your Fun!".

The talk will discuss how binary systems form, why they are so important in stellar astronomy, explores their varieties, and looks at a few you can view in the Springtime sky.

All welcome on the night. We also have a short DVD of the work being done at the European Southern Observatory.
