FREE: 20-page guide to the night sky for 2008 was created by johnflannery
Hi all,
Well, it took me a while to get complete for various reasons but I have now created a FREE 20-page guide to the night sky for 2008 for Ireland.
The booklet is a 1.15Mb pdf that can be downloaded by right-clicking on the following link and selecting "Save As" ...
www.southdublinastronomy.org/w/images/6/6c/Sky_guide_2008.pdf
The almanac gives a month-by-month summary of planetary phenomena, detailed notes on the Sun, Moon, visible comets, meteor showers, eclipses, minor planets, variable stars, space missions in 2008, and much more.
Enjoy!
John

Thanks for all the kind comments guys.
Seanie, feel free to distribute it to a wider audience in any way. I'm more than happy for that to happen and also for it to be linked to on web sites.
Drop me a line if any corrections or if you want more detailed predictions for any particular phenomena.
All the best,
John
