Seanie, are there any observing sessions at COSMOS? Have checked its schedule, but can't see anything.

Weather permitting, there will be observing sessions on both nights.
Everyone's encouraged to bring their telescope and/or binoculars.
Lets keep our fingers crossed for clear skies!

Right, another question on this. What time would you expect the dinner to be over and observing starting on the Saturday night? Intended to make this part of it, but have gone and arranged to be over in Longford that evening!

Typically, some folks that don't come to the dinner itself but make their own arrangements elsewhere, come back after 9pm. There is a lounge area to relax in and wait while the rest let the food go down and all that. There is no set time frame after the dinner, and it is completely informal - no need to impress!

Of course, on the night (after the dinner), it will be down to what the weather is like before the die hards will venture out.
