Hi guys,

Our clubs monthly meeting will take place this evening at 8 pm in the claddagh hall.

Our speaker, Dave Grennan from these boards has very kindly agreed to give us a talk on astrophotography. Dave is in

Dave Grennan (Raheny Observatory) is one of the most accomplished astrophotographers in Ireland. He has had an interest in astronomy since childhood and he mainly uses modified webcams and digital SLR's to capture stunning vistas of the many celestial jewels of the night sky. Together with fellow astrophotographers Jed Glover, Carl O'Beirnes and Gary Clarke, he maintains the website webtreatz.com . Many of the photos on this site are taken from suburban Dublin, some are taken from very rural Co. Mayo.

There will be tea, coffe and biscuits after and if the weather permits there will be observing also.

I apologise for the late posting but i am mid exams and am working 40 hours a week also so ive been stuck for time.

Many thanks once again to Dave and i hope to see you all tonight.
Clear skies,
Matthew

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time. . . .
