accomodation at connaught star party was created by albertw
For those travelling long distances, or just those who fancy staying on for a drink or two, is there an accomodation list for the connaught star party? Is westwood house hotel giving a special rate for atendees this year?
Cheers,

We stayed in the hotel last year and it was very good. Not sure how many of their rooms are at the special "Star Party" rate though.
Actually must organise ourselves again this year.

I booked a room in the Westwood House Hotel for the Saturday night.
If you plan to stay there, it's 75euros per person sharing for room and breakfast if you phone them. They have no special rate for the star party, which is a pity.
However, there is a way around it. Book online at www.westwoodhousehotel.com/ There, you can avail of a special rate of 79euros for the room. This is a room only rate. However, I phoned the hotel and yes, you can buy breakfast seperately for about 11euros per person. So, this works about 50euros per person based on 2 people sharing which is much better than the 75euros they'll quote you over the phone.
Hope to see you all there.
Clear skies,

What about B&B's? I know myself and Albert are looking for a B&B or two. Hotels are quite expensive when its just a few hours kip!

There is a list here somewhere listing the B&B's surrounding the Connaught SP... I can't find it!
Does anyone know of the closest B&B's to the hotel in question where CSP is being held?
Cheers,
Seanie.
