I just want to let everyone know that the next SDAS meeting is deferred from October 2nd to October 9th due to something else I need to attend.
The talk on October 9th will be "Catch A Falling Star" to be given by myself and will introduce people to meteor observing, one of the easiest ways to get started in astronomy with no essential equipment required. We will also explore the science of meteor astronomy, how it got started and recent developments including meteor storm prediction.
All are welcome on the night and admission is free. Venue is Gonzaga College, Ranelagh, Dublin 6 at 8pm.
