Hi All,
SAC astronomy observing session alert at Boher carpark for tonight 8.30pm onwards, bring your scope and wrap up as it will be very cold. All are welcome.
Its gonna be a long night.

That might change later Mike. 2 hours ago, fog was so thick in Daingean I could not, at all, see any stars. It has not almost all cleared up I am going out observing in about an hour. Micro climates around the country I guess!

The fog was coming and going up here, but it never cleared beyond a few patchy holes here and there.
Pity, too, as it was quite transparent behind it.

What a night! Conan, Dave and I braved it.
8:30 Pm to 7:30 Am.
Best observing session of the year without a doubt.
