Was that not posted on APOD before? Nice shot all the same, but I swear I saw that on it last year/early this year! Anto, have you been cheating again?

Seanie,
This is the first time that this particular analemma has appeared on APOD. My other APOD analemmas are the following:
(1) 2003 - antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap030320.html
(2) 2004 - antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap040621.html
(3) 2006 - antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap061223.html
Today's APOD honours is my fourth analemma (as you can see) and the first time appearance for this particular result.
Anthony.

There is a lot of truth to what you write above. I have a few friends who were fortunate to spend time in Ireland and they all had nothing but really good things to say about the country and its people.
I must sit down and look for a possible total solar eclipse so as to have the perfect excuse to raid Ireland. In fact, we in Greece are entering a stage where total lunar eclipses will be rare for a period of about fifteen years (starting around 2010) and it will be another perfect excuse to visit Ireland.
Patience as usual ... I will be loitering in Ireland some day ...
