Hi,

The annual guide to whats in the sky Sky-High 2009 from the Irish Astronomical Society has been published. Now in it's 17th year, this guide has an Monthly Diary of carefully selected visible phenomena as well as features on Planets, Comets, Asteroids, Variable Stars, Eclipses, Meteor Showers, Epsilon Aurigae and more as well as specially written articles by Patricia Carroll (Deciphering Star Names) and James O'Connor (Southern Stars).

Sky-High may be puchased for €6 (inc. p&p) from:
"Sky-High 2009"
Irish Astronomical Society
P.O. Box 2549
Dublin 14

It is also available (cover price €5) from Eason's, O'Connell St.,
Dublin 1

All proceeds go to the Society (please note that Society members get it free as a benefit membership),

Happy reading and clear skies for 2009,
John
