Next Monday, January 5th, sees the launch of the Northern Ireland Amateur Astronomy Society.
We'll still be incorporating our old East Antrim Astronomical Society name for the next year, however.
Our guest is a certain Dave Mc Donald, a welcome return visitor, who'll be telling us about his recent discovery, and the night will have refreshments, a display of members' images and telescopes, and maybe the odd surprise thrown in....a great start for IYA 2009.
The venue as usual is Ballyclare High School, beginning at 8pm.
