The next Midlands Astronomy Club (MAC) public lecture takes place in the Presbyterian Hall, High Street, Tullamore, as follows:
Date & Time: Tuesday March 3rd @ 8pm
Speaker/Topic: Open to Members and the Public
Title: "Telescope Night for Beginners"
Admission: €2.00 per person, all welcome to attend.
The first Telescope Night of 2009 by MAC invites members of the public to come and bring their telescopes. MAC members will demonstrate how to best use your telescope, what you can do to maintain it, and what are the best seasonal objects worth looking for. Everyone is welcome to come along.
Memberships for 2009 are now due, and they are as follows: €35 Single/€50 Family. Please pay Martin Minnock, MAC Treasurer, when you can.
