SAC 100 hours of astronomy was created by johnomahony
The Shannonside Astronomy Club held its 100 hours of Astronomy event on the banks of the river Shannon at O'Callaghans Strand, Limerick city centre. We had two great evenings weather wise on the Thursday and Saturday nights. We had a very good turn out of local people and club members to look at the moon, Saturn and a few star clusters through the club's recently refurbished 12" dob and our newly acquired 10" SCT and 25 x 100mm binoculars. A few club members also brought their own scopes - there was quite a collection of gear for the public to look through.
A full report and photos to follow.

Hello Shannonside

I am collating all the information from IFAS 100 Hours Events for both 100 Hours and for the IYA Irish web page. So if you have some images and information you would like included post it as soon as you can , thanks.

Kerry Astronomy Club Hello down there ?? what happened ? let us know about it.

It was fantastic to see so many people taking part and doing a bit of public service astronomy.
The official registering will remain open for a few more weeks ,so if anyone did something between April 2nd and April 5th in astronomy for the public ,it is still fine to include.

Let me know

Best to all
