Hi All,
I'd like to thank all the 20 or so people who came along to the club meeting yesterday and to those who stayed on at the observing session at the end.
I brought the little ETX70, and a number of us had a look at Comet Macholtz, the pleiades, Saturn, orion nebula and a number of other objects.
There seemed to be little haze that night, the craic was mighty as was the sky, so much infact that we might make this a permanent feature.
As you might have gathered from another post, we're going to have an observing session either on the Friday or Saturday night, as this weekend in the opposition of Saturn, so nows a good time to get it.
All are welcome, not just club members, we'll do our usual system of phone calls.
If you want to come but you think that we havent got your number, send me a PM and well arrange something.
If the sky is clear, be ready for a looooong night
Remember, this is all dependent on the weather.
