Hello Everyone,
Following Friday evening’s Dr Jayanne English's astronomy imaging talk at Blackrock Castle Observatory there was a positive response about doing an image-making workshop this Sunday August 2nd from 1pm-4:00pm. Even if you did not attend the lecture, please feel free to come to the workshop anyway since there will be a brief review at the beginning.
Jayanne has created a website with all the details (location, etc) and with material (black and white images, software package) that you should download if you have a laptop. (We will work in groups of 2 or 3 at on laptop, so if some attendees don't have a laptop don't worry.) This site has material for both Cork and Armagh attendees. (The Armagh workshop is Aug 5, 10am.)
