First Fridays at the Castle - Friday 6th November 6-9pm
6pm - Hands on Workshops: The Lives of Stars
7pm - Observing in the Courtyard (weather permitting)
8pm - I'll be giving a talk entitled "Shooting Stars and Meteorites" and may even have a sample or two of meteorites there.

Discovery 2009 takes place between Nov 9th – 15th.

Kevin Nolan gives a talk entitled "Mars: A Cosmic Stepping Stone!" on Saturday 7th November 2.30pm at Cork City Library – Grand Parade.

The film "The Fifth Element" will be screened at BCO on Saturday November 28 at 8pm.

Science Week is Sunday November 8th to Sunday November 15th.
Paul McCrory willpresent "Magic, science or mystery?" on Saturday November 14th at BCO.
