Professor Evert Meurs kindly sent the following details of a talk in DCU tonight, November 12th. It will be held in conjunction with the prize-giving for the astrophotography competition run by DCU.
The Prize Ceremony for the digital astronomical photography competition that was organized by DCU on the occasion of IYA2009 will be this Thursday 12 November, at 7pm in DCU. What makes this attractive for amateurs as well as general public is that it is to be followed by a public talk by Dr Claus Madsen of the European Southern Observatory on "Images of the Universe".
